Configuring Microsoft Outlook Express 5.0 for E-mail
If you are trying to double check and make sure you have your E-mail settings correct, click here.
Open Microsoft Outlook Express 5.0. Go to the "Tools" menu and click on "Accounts".

Go to the "Add" menu and click on "Mail...".
Type in your name or an alias, then click "Next".
Type in your E-mail address, then click "Next".
Type the Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP, or HTTP) server as, "pop.cxp.com" and the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server as, "smtp.cxp.com". Click on "Next".
Type in your "Username" and "Password", then click "Next".
*(This screen might not come up, skip this one if it does not) Click the circle (radio button) beside the option, "Connect using Internet Explorer's or a 3rd party dialer". Click "Next".
Click on the "Finish" button.
There should now be this familiar window from the beginning of this setup. Just click on "Close" and you should be all set! ;)
That's it!! Microsoft Outlook Express 5.0 should now be configured to receive e-mail from your CyberXpress account. To have your mail delivered or received, click on "Send and Receive". If you're not already connected, Outlook should use your Dial-Up Networking connection to dial CyberXpress. All received mail should appear in the Inbox.
