Configuring Microsoft Outlook 97 for E-mail
Open Microsoft Outlook. Go to the "Tools" menu and click "Services".

Click on the "Internet Mail" item and click the "Properties" button. If "Internet Mail" is not an option, skip to the next screen below.

If "Internet Mail" is not on the list, then you can click the "Add..." button and select it from this list:

This window will appear next. This is the "General" tab.

Fill in the blanks as shown in the example:

Click the "Servers" tab.
This is the "Servers" Tab.
Fill in the blanks as shown in the example:
Server Information Outgoing Mail (SMTP):
Incoming Mail (POP3):smtp.cxp.com
pop.cxp.comLogin Information
Set To: Logon using: Account Name:
Password:username
******** (not your override password)
Once you've finished, click the "Connection" tab.
This is the "Connection" tab.

Select the "I use a modem to access my e-mail" option. For "Use the following Dial-Up Networking connection:" choose the CyberXpress entry.
That's it!! Microsoft Outlook 97 should now be configured to receive e-mail from your CyberXpress account. To have your mail delivered or received, click on "Tools" and click "Check for New Mail". If you're not already connected, Outlook should use your Dial-Up Networking connection to dial CyberXpress. All received mail should appear in the Inbox.
