Setting up Internet Explorer 5.0 for Internet Access & E-mail
If you are just trying to check your Browser (Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0) settings, then click here.
It is highly recommended to get the latest version of Internet Explorer from Microsoft.
Go to the "Task Bar" and click on

Open up the ICON "Internet Options".
Click on the "Connections" tab. Click on the "Setup..." button.
Click on the circle (radio button) beside the option, "I want to set up my Internet connection manually, or I want to connect through a local area network (LAN) .". Click on "Next >"
Click on the circle (radio button) beside the option, "I connect through a phone line and a modem". Click on "Next >".
Type "904" for the Area code and "394-5000" for the Telephone number. The Country name and code should be, "United States of America (1)". Unselect the option, "Dial using the area code and country code". Click on "Advanced".
Click on the "Addresses" tab. Make sure the circle (radio button) with the option, "Internet server provider automatically provides one" selected. Click the circle (radio button) with the option, "Always use the following:" selected. Type in "209.136.4.2" for the Primary DNS server and "209.136.4.3" for the Alternate DNS server. Click on "OK".
Click "Next >"
Type your "Username" and "Password". Click on "Next >".
Type in "CyberXpress" as the Connection name. Click on "Next >".
Click the circle (radio button) with the option, "Yes". Click on "Next >".
(NOTE! This screen might NOT come up, if it does not go ahead to the next step below) Click the circle (radio button) beside the option, "Create a new Internet mail account". Click "Next >".
Type in your name or an alias for Display name. Click on "Next >".
Type in your E-mail address for E-mail address. Click on "Next >".
Type in "pop.cxp.com" for the Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server and type in "smtp.cxp.com" for the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server. Click on "Next >".
Type in your "Username" for the Account name and type in your Password. Make sure the option, "Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)" is NOT selected. Click on "Next >".
We are almost done! Go ahead and click on "Finish".
That's it!! Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 and Microsoft Outlook Express 5.0 should now be configured. Whenever you go to open up the Browser (Internet Explorer) or E-mail program (Outlook Express), if you're not already connected, Microsoft should use your Dial-Up Networking connection to dial CyberXpress.
