"I hear a recording from the modem after it dials" or "I
get a fast busy signal"
Check to see that only 394-5000 is being dialed, also make sure that if your dialing
a *70 in front of the number that you have "Call Waiting" available, otherwise
it won't work either.
"My modem wont dial" or "I get a No Dial-Tone"
Check to make sure the phone line is tightly plugged in.
If using an external modem, make sure the modem cable is plugged in tightly too.
Check to make sure that no other modem software applications are running, and that no
other program is trying to use your modem.
If using an external modem, make sure that you have the modem turned on and there is
power going to it.
If using an external modem, then shut off the modem for a few seconds and then turn it
back on.
Do a complete shutdown of your computer. Turn it off for about 10-20 seconds, then turn
your PC back on and try your modem again.
Check to make sure that the correct COM Port is set for your modem.
"It keeps asking for my password" or "It says I have an incorrect
username and/or password"
- Make sure you have the correct username and password. Most problems that happen
here are either you are entering your E-mail address, and not your username. Also you
might be entering the wrong password. Make sure NOT to use your override
password, if you have one. (Example: If your E-mail address is: JTurner@cxp.com, then your user name will be JTurner.)

- Check and make sure that your account hasnt expired or your not late on a payment.
If you are not sure call (904) 354-3992.

- Did you configure the Internet settings correctly? Such as Gateway, DNS servers, and the
correct Protocol. Check by going to the Advanced User Information
page.
- If you are using Filtered Internet Access, make sure you have the Proxy Server
configured with the correct port. Check by going to the Advanced User
